It’s evolving way faster than anybody could probably have even imagined. From the military to industry itself, there are potentially massive productivity gains. So, I think it’s a matter of adapting. Here in Omaha, data companies are very active in the community, supporting local efforts and charities, and they provide a great tax base for school districts.” Navigating the Real Question “In this race with other countries for AI dominance, we are going to need an insane amount of power, and it has to be consistent power, which is not going to be provided by wind and solar,” Budd predicts. “Setting that aside, I think it is a moral question that people should be asking. The goal? To complete all policy meetings, the annual business meeting and the banquet within a single day. While the trade show and social activities will remain a staple, this change respects our members’ time. A formal recommendation on this schedule will be shared at the NC Midyear Meeting this June. These updates represent the first major structural change since Nebraska Cattlemen was formed by the merger of the Nebraska Stockgrowers and the Nebraska Livestock Feeders Association in 1988. As the cattle industry grows and diversifies, Nebraska Cattlemen is committed to growing alongside it. By simplifying our governance, we aren’t just changing our bylaws – we are strengthening our collective voice. ~NC~ INSIGHTS CONTINUED FROM PAGE 8
