22 NEBRASKA CATTLEMAN August 2026 PEOPLE Celebrating 30 Years of Leadership Ann Marie Bosshamer Marks ree Decades With the Nebraska Beef Council ADAM WEGNER | DIRECTOR OF MARKETING, NEBRASKA BEEF COUNCIL For 30 years, Ann Marie Bosshamer has been an advocate for Nebraska’s cattle producers, telling the story of beef to consumers, health professionals, retailers, media and industry leaders across the nation and around the world. Bosshamer began her journey with the Nebraska Beef Council on Aug. 7, 1996. Over the years, she worked in the areas of nutrition, consumer information and channel marketing before being named executive director in 2006. Her commitment to strengthening beef demand and serving producers has remained strong over the past three decades. “Ann Marie’s leadership and dedication have left a lasting mark on Nebraska’s beef industry,” says Rosemary Anderson, chairwoman of the Nebraska Beef Council. “For 30 years, she has been a tireless advocate for cattle producers, helping build consumer trust in beef while ensuring producer investments are used effectively. We are blessed to have such a passionate leader who is respected throughout Nebraska and across the country.” Bosshamer has participated in countless promotions, educational programs and industry events during her time at the Beef Council.
