60 NEBRASKA CATTLEMAN August 2026 NC DISPATCH Nebraska Cattlemen Exhibitor Appreciation Luncheon The Nebraska Cattlemen will host an exhibitor appreciation luncheon at the Nebraska State Fair, Sept. 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Five Points Loft. Open Class beef exhibitors at the Nebraska State Fair are invited to attend the luncheon to network and learn more about Nebraska Cattlemen. Raising Nebraska Find the NCW-Promotion and Education Committee in Raising Nebraska during the 2026 Nebraska State Fair. Stop in and pick up new education materials and beef recipe books for all ages. Teacher packets will be available for schools that are attending the Nebraska’s Largest Classroom on Aug. 28, Sept. 1 and 2. Veteran’s Day Celebration Since 2009, the Nebraska Cattlemen Farmer-Stockman Council has sponsored beef drafts for military members on Veterans’ Appreciation Day at the Nebraska State Fair. The Producer Council will again honor veterans and active-duty service members in the Beef Pit at the 2026 Nebraska State Fair during the Veteran’s Day Celebration. Donations are being accepted to help purchase meals for our veterans and active-duty service members to eat at the Nebraska Beef Pit this year.
