68 NEBRASKA CATTLEMAN February 2024 South Central Cattlemen teamed up with the Farmer-Stockman Council for their summer tour. Marc Hanson was elected to serve as chair, and Dwight Dam was elected to serve as vice chair. Dan Egger will serve on the Nominations Committee. Cow-Calf Council The Cow-Calf Council held elections as prescribed by the bylaws. Travis Chrisman was elected chair and Jake Johnson was elected vice chair. Al Atkins, as outgoing chair, will serve on the Nominations Committee. The council then discussed the 2023 Cow-Calf Tour and asked for ideas for the 2024 Cow-Calf Tour. The meeting adjourned to attend the breakout sessions. Allied Industries Council In their meeting, the Allied Industries Council (AIC) discussed utilizing the NC partnership packages, which have grown in the past few years. The council was reminded that NC staff can meet with partners individually to discuss their needs. NC’s partnership packages range from $1,000 to $25,000 annually with varying levels of perks included.
