The council agreed that they appreciate having an Allied Industries Council meeting during the annual Midyear Meeting and want to continue that practice. Chair Andy Dorn’s term was completed, and an election was held. Jake Pullen was elected as AIC Chair, which is a voting member of the NC Board of Directors. Austin Woltemath was elected as vice chair. COUNCIL BREAKOUT SESSIONS Three Council Breakout Sessions allowed convention attendees to hear from speakers on topics of interest to Nebraska’s cattle industry. Presentations on Managing Extreme Weather Conditions, Carbon Sequestration and Dairy-Bred Performance were given The OK Brand Fencing Products’ unique display includes a TV screen where attendees watched Nebraska women’s volleyball during the event.
