74 NEBRASKA CATTLEMAN January 2026 LEADING THE WAY TO THE FUTURE CAMPA I GN Goal: Raise $1,000,000 to strengthen future leadership of the Nebraska Beef Industry WHAT: The Nebraska Cattlemen Research & Education Foundation Fund is working to substantially grow an endowment aimed at providing support for youth and adult leadership development, especially among existing and emerging leaders involved in the Nebraska Beef Industry. We aim to raise $1,000,000—an ambitious but transformational goal that will allow us to make sizeable investments in our future BEEF leaders of our movement. WHEN: Now! Already we’ve secured a $250,000 contribution from the Nebraska Cattlemen Foundation and are well on our way to our goal which we hope to meet in 2026. WHY: The Nebraska Beef Industry must have strong leaders to serve as the voice for the state’s beef producers. This endowment will support leadership development activities for youth and adults that will help Nebraska grow and educate our state leaders, other influential people and entities. HOW: We will meet our goal through the generosity of Nebraska Cattlemen and Nebraska Cattlewomen like you! You know best what it takes to help lead the beef industry in Nebraska. You know how important it is to be educated and trained to speak on behalf of our industry. We hope you are inspired to contribute to an endowment that will directly benefit the Nebraska Beef Industry now and for years to come.
