Since 1970, NCF has provided scholarship support to students pursuing their educational goals through generous contributions from donors to the foundation. Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year are available at nebraskacattlemen.org. NEBRASKA CATTLEMEN BEEF STATE SCHOLARSHIP Established in 2014, the Nebraska Cattlemen Beef State Scholarship is the premier NCF scholarship, awarding $10,000 to an outstanding college junior, senior or graduate-level student. Eligibility Requirements: • Nebraska resident • Enrolled in a Nebraska college or university • Pursuing a beef industry-related degree The scholarship is awarded based on: • Involvement in the Nebraska beef industry (past achievements and future plans) • Academic performance • Personal interview (if selected as a finalist) Applicants must complete the online application by March 1, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. CT. Selected finalists will be invited to interview with the selection committee. ADDITIONAL NCF SCHOLARSHIPS In addition to the Beef State Scholarship, NCF offers numerous other scholarships ($1,000 minimum). These awards recognize academic achievement, beef industry involvement, leadership and the overall quality of the application.
