Membership recruitment success will be celebrated, and the group will engage in a discussion on how to increase membership recruitment on the local and state levels. Members will have a chance to provide input on membership benefits. The meeting will also include a report from National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. 2:10 p.m. Council Business Meetings Councils will hold elections for their 2026 leadership. All council members are encouraged to attend their respective business meetings. 3:30 p.m. Breakout Sessions Breakout Session I • Business Updates Come learn about new changes that may impact your operation. Breakout Session II • Trade Overview Join this session for the latest news regarding trade agreements and their impacts. 4:15 p.m. Allied Industries Council Meeting Nebraska Cattlemen associate members make up the Allied Industries Council. Council members will receive updates from the summer meeting, as well as updates on partnership package opportunities and upcoming meetings and events. Bring ideas on how to get more involved with Nebraska Cattlemen members. 5:15 p.m. Opening General Session Plan to attend the Opening General Session and hear from Nebraska Cattlemen, industry leaders and a keynote speaker that will be announced at a later date. We will also recognize the recipients of the 2025 Leopold Conservation Award in Nebraska. 7:00 p.m. Welcome Reception at the Trade Show Sponsored by the Nebraska Cattlemen Allied Industries Council. Mingle with NC members and Allied Industries Council partners at this evening of food and fun on opening night in the Trade Show Ballroom.
