NC DISPATCH NC Introduces Office Manager Ashley McClinton Nebraska Cattlemen has hired Ashley McClinton in the position of office manager. In this role, McClinton will provide administrative support for all Nebraska Cattlemen (NC) departments and will be the voice on the end of the line when members call in to the NC office. McClinton is a native of Louisiana and made Lincoln her home in November 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Centenary College of Louisiana and a Master of Fine Arts in Stage Management from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. After working throughout the country for various professional theatre companies, she landed in Pittsburgh, Penn., for 10 years where she worked as an administrative coordinator, executive assistant and event planner at Carnegie Mellon University. After moving to Lincoln, McClinton served as the administrative coordinator for the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation where she supported a thriving team promoting agricultural education throughout the state. “I am thrilled to join the team of Nebraska Cattlemen! After relocating to Nebraska, I quickly became immersed in the robust agriculture industry and its thriving culture,” McClinton says. “I am blessed to continue to work with producers, via the Nebraska Cattlemen, and help support all their endeavors for the great Beef State!” McClinton’s husband, John, is a senior Farm Bill biologist with Pheasants Forever. They have an 11-month-old son, Buddy. Husker Harvest Days Catch the Nebraska Cattlemen membership team at the 2024 Husker Harvest Days, Sept. 10-12, 2024, in Grand Island. Beef in Schools School is back in session and beef is back on many school menus thanks to the Beef in Schools programs. The mission of the program is to promote Nebraska beef for school lunch programs and encourage beef education and nutrition throughout Nebraska schools.
